To me, it just seems fitting. Not to get extremely introversive or anything, but it’s one of those songs that echoes innocence and simplicity, two things that we look over too much in the faster-paced world. So enjoy your Saturdays everyone, and touch grass every once in a while.

Why hasn’t anyone told me about his band?! I mean, I was searching far and wide today for something new and fresh, and all hope was running out. I had listened to new Mat Kearney (no)… Fruit Bats (which isn’t all that bad)… And then I found Other Lives. Come on followers, you gots to let me know when there is a jammin’ band out there that I need to post about!

First of all, she’s a pretty little thing ain’t she?

Second of all, she’s got a very pretty and clean voice.

Third of all, I don’t know uhhh, she’s a guitar player.

Put it all together, and I’d say you’ve got a pretty damned good performance. I may not be the smartest cat in the alley, but I think I have this one pinned down.
